|Functional Responsibility||Position Description/Tasks to be Performed:
Acquisition Advisor provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Provides expert level advice and analysis to the Government; improving management, control, and execution of key activities and efforts. Interactions involve customer negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Advice, analysis, and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others.
Minimum Experience – At least 15 years of progressively more responsibility and experience directing and managing professional services programs and supporting DoD/DON acquisition programs. This experience must include one or more technology areas including, strategic planning, concept development and requirements analysis, systems design, engineering and integration, test and evaluation, and integrated logistics support, as well as demonstrate program management, acquisition and life cycle management experience. An additional five years of this experience is required if the individual only possesses a Bachelor’s Degree as described below.
|Minimum Education||Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field from an accredited program with at least 15 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field from an accredited program with at least 20 years of experience.|
